Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some positives like exceptional service and a lovely location, but was let down by dated rooms and disappointing dining options. The shared decking walkway made sitting outside inconvenient, and the breakfast service fell short of expectations.
The hotel had some positives like well-decorated rooms and attentive service, but there were issues with rooms feeling cramped and tobacco smoke coming in. The location was convenient for exploring Cornwall, and the dining options were satisfactory. Facilities were somewhat lacking, with signs of mold due to poor HVAC.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. While the rooms were quite dated and in need of some updating, the service from the staff was friendly and helpful. The location, though a bit out of the way, served as a good base for exploring Cornwall. The dining options left something to be desired, with breakfast falling short of expectations, but the overall facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel is located in a convenient spot for exploring Cornwall and is ideal for discovering the south west. The rooms, although not in complete working order upon arrival, are spacious and modern. The service is friendly and professional, especially towards our little furry friend. The dining experience could be improved, as the service was a bit confusing, but the Pork Belly was seriously yummy. The facilities, including the cafe and swimming pool, are well-maintained. Overall, the location makes it a great base for exploring the area.
